It features queer, neurodivergent characters living in a utopian society where everyone is given the freedom and support needed to thrive. But the test of any idyllic culture is what happens when their protective sphere of isolation is broken. When the Strangers-from-the-Sea arrive, lost and deathly ill, the people of the mountain must confront questions regarding the world beyond the natural boundaries that have kept them safe for millennia.
